Help with AlignerPro

Found a bug, need help, or have an idea that would make AlignerPro better? Email feedback@alignerpro.app.

How do I back up to Google Drive?

  1. Open AlignerPro and go to Settings, then Backup & Restore.
  2. Under Backup location, tap Use Google Drive.
  3. Choose the Google account you want to use and approve access.
  4. To make a one-time backup, tap Create backup. Choose whether to password-protect it, then confirm.
  5. For scheduled backups, set up Automatic Backup and choose the schedule, time, Wi-Fi setting and number of backups to keep. Automatic Backup requires Premium.

AlignerPro saves the files in a visible AlignerPro Backups folder in your Drive. Password protection is optional. If you use it, keep the password safe because it cannot be recovered.

How do I disconnect Google Drive?

To stop scheduled backups, open Settings, Backup & Restore, then Automatic Backup and tap Turn off automatic backup. You can also use Change location if you want future backups saved to a folder instead.

To remove AlignerPro's Google permission completely, open your Google Account connections, select AlignerPro and remove its access. Turning off backups or revoking access does not delete backup files already in Drive.

How do I delete Google Drive backups?

  1. Turn off Automatic Backup first if you do not want AlignerPro to create another scheduled backup.
  2. Open Google Drive and find the AlignerPro Backups folder.
  3. Delete the backup files you no longer want, or delete the whole folder.
  4. Empty the Google Drive bin if you want the files permanently deleted straight away.

Deleting a backup is permanent once it has left the Drive bin. It does not delete the treatment data currently stored in AlignerPro on your device.

How do I restore a Google Drive backup?

  1. Go to Settings, then Backup & Restore.
  2. If needed, set the backup location to Google Drive and connect the account containing the backup.
  3. Under Restore, choose the backup you want and tap Restore.
  4. Enter its password if that backup was password-protected.
  5. Check the backup summary, then tap Replace local data.

Restoring replaces the treatment data, settings, timer state and progress photos currently on that device. When setting up AlignerPro on a new phone, you can instead choose Restore from Google Drive during onboarding.

How do I report a bug?

Email feedback@alignerpro.app with what happened, what you expected to happen, and anything you did just before the problem showed up.

What should I include in a bug report?

Include your device model, Android version, AlignerPro app version, the screen you were using, and whether it happens every time. Screenshots are useful, as long as they do not show anything you would rather keep private.

Can AlignerPro give dental advice?

No. AlignerPro helps you track your routine, but it does not provide dental or orthodontic advice. Always follow guidance from your dentist or orthodontist.

Where is the privacy policy?

The privacy policy is available at alignerpro.app/privacy/. It covers local storage, photos, backups, optional website analytics, cookies, permissions and feedback emails.

How do I clear my data?

In AlignerPro, go to Settings, Data, Clear all data. If you cannot open the app, use Android Settings, Apps, AlignerPro, Storage, Clear data. Any local backup ZIP files need to be deleted from wherever you saved them. Google Drive backups must be deleted separately from the AlignerPro Backups folder in Drive.
